I was going to start this post saying something about “welcoming a new addition to the family,” but I didn’t want to give anyone a heart attack. So I’m making a lame joke instead. Only, instead of on Blueberry Hill, I found my drill at Canadian Tire.
It’s a DeWalt 12 volt 3/8″ cordless number. I had been gazing longingly at it for months and tonight, on our way past to buy a French press, it happened to be on sale. Dave even let me pick up some shiny new bits for it. My other set is in a box somewhere, possibly in Dave’s parents’ basement.
Now, I do have another drill. It’s not reversible, it’s not variable speed, and it’s not cordless. It does the a job, but this wondrous new toy does several. And I can scratch something off the Christmas list!
So, does anyone need any holes put in anything?

Wow, you’re such a geek! But that’s awesome! And yes, good thing you didn’t use that other title. You would have got a comment with a lot more exclamation points.
Haha! I didn’t think it would be good for the ill or the elderly!
I can’t find my drill. True story. So come over and bring yours.
I’ll be on the next bus out!
